I answered to an ad on craigslist. They said they will send packages to me and I can print out the labels and send them to my local postal office and send it out. I did some research earlier and realized that this could be a identity scam. I could be involved in shipping stolen goods? I sent them a copy of my learners permit. What can they do with that info? What can I do about it? Thanks.
I get paid every 2 weeks $300. That sounds like a too good/easy of a deal. I am supposed to start receiving packages tomorrow. I’m also 17 and they never asked for any proof of working permit.

They can only steal your identity completely if they asked you for you social security number and you gave it to them

Sounds like you have been had and ravaged. NEVER send such information and don’t respond to any offers that request personal information or documents. Report it if you can. Often times you can do a search that might might turn up information on the company in question and you might want to report it.

If your learners permit number is your social security number it could be a scam to steal your identity. Next time talk to your parents about it before you’re risking your identity. It can cause a big mess that’s almost impossible to fix.
